GIRL’S TRYOUTS

5TH THROUGH 8TH GRADE GIRLS:  

  • 5th-8th grade girls will ALL tryout.   Please note tryout dates/times (different than registration date).  Attending both tryouts is expected.  If your daughter needs to miss a tryout date, please let us know at loyllacrosse@gmail.com. 
  • Tryouts for ALL girls 5th-8th grade will be held March 4th & 6th  
    • Tryout #1: March 4th – Hazelia Turf – 5th/6th grades:  5:30pm-7pm, 7th/8th grades: 7pm-8:30pm
    • Tryout #2: March 6th – Hazelia Turf – 5th/6th grades:  5:30pm-7pm, 7th/8th grades: 7pm-8:30pm
  • Please plan on arriving 30 minutes early to get your bib number, checked in and warmed up!
  • 3RD AND 4TH GRADE GIRLS: No tryouts.  First practice: April 1st.  

BOY’S TRYOUTS AND SELECT TEAM TRYOUTS

5TH – 8TH GRADE SPRING SELECT: 

Optional BOY’S SELECT TEAM:  We will be forming 5/6 and 7/8 Select teams this Spring for a more competitive option along side their Rec team. Participation on a Rec team is required for Select.  Select players will have additional training sessions with high school coaches and select teams will attend three tournaments.     

  • RSVP:  Please email loyllacrosse@gmail.com if your son would like to try-out for SELECT TEAM
  • Coach’s: Mike Marcott 5/6 & Frank Obiesie 7/8.
  • Practices: Sundays (time TBA)
  • Tournaments: BOLO – April 25/26, SALI (Sisters, OR) – May 1/2, Oregon Cup – May 16/17
  • Cost: $295 ($45 sibling discount)
  • Tryouts (attending both tryouts is strongly preferred. Please let us know if you can only make one)
    • Tryout 1: February 1st – Lakeridge HS (Turf 2)  – 5th/6th grades: 10am-12pm, 7th/8th grades: 12pm-2pm
    • Tryout 2: February 2nd – Lakeridge HS (Turf2) – 5th/6th grades: 9am-11am, 7th/8th grades: 11am-1pm

1ST-4TH GRADE BOYS:  No “select” option.  First practices week of March 30th.
